Activities

So many beautiful outdoor activities to check out around Hansville.

One of Hansville’s most popular destination is the Point No Point Lighthouse and park. A National Historic Landmark, it is one of the oldest lighthouses on the Puget Sound. The shoreline around the lighthouse is beautiful any time of year and fisherman can often be seen catching salmon from the beach.

Hansville is also a popular destination for bird watchers. Kitsap County’s Buck Lake park is a perfect spot for a picnic, bike rest stop or summer swim. The Hansville Greenway is a 245 acre tract that reaches from the Puget Sound at Norwegian Point Park, includes the west shore of Buck Lake and ends at the Hood Canal. The Greenway includes walking tails and wildlife viewing stations.
