Craftsmanship and character define this one-of-a-kind log cabin retreat, built with local logs, vintage windows, and wide-plank flooring. The centrally located wood stove keeps the whole home warm, and the stocked woodshed means you’re set for the season. A cozy sleeping loft invites slow mornings, while the open great-room layout keeps cooking, relaxing, and gathering all in one easy flow. Enjoy the sounds of the birds while you have your morning coffee on the covered porch. You may even have a deer come by for a visit. A separate one-bedroom studio gives guests their own space, complete with a half bath. Tall firs surround the cabin, yet the southwest exposure brings in generous natural light. A well-designed shop and attached golf-cart carport keep tools and gear protected. The property is offered turn-key, including furnishings, golf cart, and crab pots. Just bring your toothbrush and start enjoying island life. Pilots will appreciate the quick access to Center Island’s private 1,600' airstrip — perfect for spontaneous fly-ins and weekend escapes. Center Island is served by water taxi running multiple trips daily. The community offers full-time caretakers, two deep-water docks, a clubhouse with laundry and full kitchen, waterfront picnic areas, and scenic roads and trails. Broadband available. Community water system is available to homes occupied 180 days or less.
