Getting to Know Me
After graduating from North Kitsap High School in 1985, I packed my bags and headed East for college. I was convinced I’d never be back. It wasn’t long before I missed the water, the mountains and the infinite shades of green the Northwest is famous for. I brought my boyfriend here to visit one summer (an Italian boy from Philadelphia) and he said, “Why would you want to live anywhere else?!”. He was right. So we got married, moved back to Indianola, built a home, and had a son named Lucca.
In the winter you’ll find me cooking, reading, and skiing. In the spring and summer I like to mountain bike, trail run, hike, kayak and jump off of the Indianola dock (the water really isn’t that bad). Fall is for hunting Chanterelles on the countless trails I love to run and bike…and more cooking. I also love to travel.
When I graduated with a BFA in ceramics over 25 years ago I never would have imagined I would become a realtor, but it’s a great fit. Doing this job well is all about liking people, being a good listener, enjoying problem solving and staying focused on what really matters. Having a sense of humor helps too.
In My Spare Time
Several times a year I raise money for local charities by doing comedy shows. Motherhood, real estate, and simply being a human in the 21st century provide plenty of raw material for my shows. It feels good to give back.
I love where I live and it isn’t a stretch for me to share my enthusiasm with clients. After all, why would you want to live anywhere else?!
